(Throwbacks) Dj Shamann – Unknown Episode (2006)
To be honest I don’t remember doing this mix. Most likely it was a handout for a party I was doing for Craig from Blastoff Promotions (big up!) since we did a lot of Throwback parties in this those days. If I had to guess I would say 2006 since it sounds to me like I’m using CD decks instead of my regular turntables (I bought some Denon’s around that time and was using them for a year or so before I switched back)
There’s some good 90s Hip-Hop tracks on here though from artists like The Geto Boys, Lauryn Hill, Audio Two, Mobb Deep etc.. even a few throwback Dancehall riddims. It’s not the most technical mix but it does hold a vibe.
