Dubplate Mixing & Mastering
Remixing, Restoration & Other Dub Work
Want your dubplates to sound BIG? I offer everything from mastering, remixing, restoration, even syncing your dubs to video for more social media presence.
Split File To Stereo Dub Mix
The split file is the most common way to receive a dub in today’s online dubplate market. I can take your split tracks and make them sound bigger than the standard tie-mix. When you get a split file you’ve got a mono riddim on one side, and a vocal on the other (you should always ask for “no effects” on your vocal track). A lot of the time, sounds will just tie the dub and play it as is. Why spend that much money on a chune and not give it the proper treatment?
I will make your dub stand out from the other sounds.
PLEASE USE HEADPHONES OR PROPER SPEAKERS TO HEAR THE SAMPLES.
Tied Dub Examples (Before & After)
Before and after: In both sample mixes I play what it would sound like if you just tied your split files as is, then I follow it up with what I can bring to your mixed dub.

Premium Dubplate Mix
There are different levels to the mixing I provide. The basic is the “tie and master” which is what you heard in the split to stereo samples. Sound quality wise, they’re all the same, no matter which mix service you pick I will always make your dubs sound as big as I can make them.
But you can also level up your mix. The basic tie includes the stereo file, and simple riddim drop outs here and there if you request, but if you want to take it even further I offer more creativity at a different price point (not much higher than the basic).
Here’s a premium mix example that takes things to a higher level with effects, filters and other production to make the dub sound like an official release.

No Split To Dub Remaster (Before & After)
In some cases you might not have the split file to your dub. Maybe you’re a veteran sound that recorded dubs back in the DAT tape days and don’t have the machine anymore to transfer it, or maybe you lost the original recording. I can help you bring your classic dubs back to life to compete in today’s soundclash.
There are also some artists nowadays that won’t give split files to certain chunes. I can help you out there too, either by re-balancing the vocal-to-riddim level, or by just giving it an overall better master quality. Let me know your situation and I’ll help you fix it.

Changing Riddims On Dubplates (From Split)
There are many reasons why you might want to change out the riddim on a dub. Maybe you had an idea and the artists didn’t ride the riddim the way you thought they would. Sometimes if you don’t have a riddim for a dub recording session that day, you get them to voice on a studio riddim, but you have a better version of the same riddim that you want to put it on, but it’s a different speed. Or maybe you just want to update your dubs.
I can change out your dubplates with a new riddim of your choice and remaster it so you can start playing those dubs again, don’t let them go to waste just because you feel the riddim isn’t up to bar with the rest of your dub box. In this example, I did the same dub 3 different ways.

* Please remember, not all ideas work. Sometimes original splits and new riddims will be in different keys.
Sync Your Dubplate To Video
Got a new dub you want to show off on social media? Make it reach more followers with added visuals. I can take your dub and sync it to your video of choice so when people scroll their feeds, your dubplate stands out. I can sync your dub to studio footage, or an official video. It’s up to you.
